How to Treat Acne Holes – Home Remedies

The worst thing about acne is that they won’t just leave you with unwanted dark marks, but they can go to the extent of producing scars on face.  Acne holes or otherwise termed to as acne pits usually occur as a result of cystic acne. And once you’re left with them, you can’t help but lose your self confidence which leave you sulking over the end result.

Apparently, there are several dermatologic treatment available to help you go about getting rid of acne pits. They may be through microdermabrasion and chemical peel. The problem with these procedures is that they can be very hefty since they require frequent session with your dermatologist. On the other hand, there are also some home remedies you can employ on how to remove acne holes on face. Minimize their appearance by following our suggestions.

How to Get Rid of Acne Pits

First up, we have lemon juice. The juice of the lemon is noted to work wonders in getting rid of scars because of its antibacterial property and the ability to lighten up the skin thus reducing the appearance of holes on face. This is applied on the skin for several minutes before finally rinsing off. Note that since this is acidic, this can be sting a little and may cause irritation. With this, try testing the solution first before proceeding with the remedy. Other options include tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar.

Honey is another popular remedy which is trusted to help eliminate pits caused by annoying acne. This has antiseptic properties like the lemon juice. Moreover, it is known as a natural moisturizer which helps repair the skin. Ice, on the other hand, is yet another effective remedy for the problem. This reduces the scar’s look and eventually gives your skin a finer texture.

Olive oil or the contents of the Vitamin E capsule may also be massaged onto the scars twice daily to help eliminate the pits. Face mask made out of egg whites and yogurt may be applied on the skin daily as an intervention to the problem. You can also make a mask out of sour cream, oatmeal, yogurt, and a few drops of lemon juice. Rub it on skin for several minutes before finally rinsing off.

These home remedies have been around for many years and many people have agreed to their positive effects. But since, the case may vary from one person to another, do not lose hope when one solution doesn’t seem to work with you as there are a lot more other options you can actually employ.
