Primarily, the first key to treating the condition is to prevent it in the first place. When you know that you are just susceptible to the condition, make sire that you become self-aware that the season is. Eliminate triggers and ear mask when going out especially when the pollen count is high. You also have to keep your doors and windows. Stay indoors instead of making unnecessary trips.

Take over the counter antihistamine and decongestant medicines like Claritin, and Benadryl to relieve the symptoms brought about by the problem. Be mindful that this can cause sleepiness so avoid any activities like driving or cooking. These may be widely available in tablets, but you can also purchase nasal sprays as treatment.

As for other remedies, you can drink fruit juices which are naturally rich in Vitamin C thus improving your defense system to fight off allergic response.  Honey may also be drunk as a natural remedy to help with the problem.

When worse comes to worst though and your condition doesn’t seem to heal despite treatment, you can seek medical attention and consider allergy shots to speed up recovery from the problem.
