According to the definition, pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an uncommon lung condition which arises when there is an elevated blood pressure to the pulmonary arteries or the blood vessels which transport lungs from the heart to the lungs. Once this happens, the right ventricle of the heart increases in size thus becoming weaker and becomes unable to pump sufficient blood to the lungs.
