Exercising before the flight as well as having enough rest is ideal in avoiding the symptoms of travel fatigue. This makes you body in good shape thus energy will not be depleted easily. Medication treatment such as sleeping pills may be taken to induce sleep while on a trip, but it would be better to consult your doctor about it. Alcohol and caffeinated drinks should be avoided as they can dehydrate you thus intensifying travel fatigue symptoms. Alcohol or alcohol hangover is another one which should be avoided since they can alter the feeling and will just make you feel tired as ever. Try to get as much sleep as possible during the flight. Make use of blindfolds, and neck rests to be comfortable enough while flying. You shouldn’t forget to exercise as well. Simple stretches are already helpful to prevent such symptoms.
