The maculopapular rash is usually located on any part of the body but is normally conspicuous on the trunk of the body, but is rarely seen on the face, neck, hands, and feet.

But like many doctors say, infection can’t be based on the rash alone since it involves an antibody test to fully diagnose the condition. In addition, the maculopapular rash may also be one of the symptoms of other medical conditions such as measles, dengue hemorrhagic fever, or shingles.
